C2Logix has announced that Anthony J. Esposito has permanently joined the firm as president & CEO, after having acted as a consultant to the Board of Directors since April 2010. He was also elected to a seat on the company's board.

Esposito will direct and manage all facets of the company, including the development and launch of C2RouteApp, C2Logix's entry into the Software as a Service (SaaS) world. This product will offer optimized routing solutions via web service to companies that have field work forces.

"During his short tenure as consultant to the Board, he developed a comprehensive business plan to take the company forward into the next decade," noted Kevin Callen, C2Logix Chief Technology Officer and co-founder. "Tony has extensive experience and impressive achievements. His combination of a sales, marketing, operational, and technology background complements C2Logix's current team very well and will help bring the company to the next level, rapidly building on the solid foundations already in place."

Prior to joining C2Logix, Esposito held numerous executive and management positions during 30 years in the software, hardware, and communications industries. Most recently, he served as vp of sales, marketing & operations for Actsoft Inc. which provides a GPS tracking application that allows companies to follow the travels of their field employees. During his three-year tenure there, the company grew its sales from less than $1 million to over $15 million per year.

Esposito also served as vp of sales at Wireless Matrix Corporation and he spent nearly three years at Broadbeam Corp. (formerly Nettech Inc.), where he managed direct Enterprise Sales throughout the United States and around the world. He also worked at BellSouth Wireless Data, holding numerous positions in sales management including regional vp and vp of sales. Esposito also held positions at Western Union and Dialcom, a division of British Telecom.

Founded in 2000, C2Logix is headquartered in Fairfax, VA, with offices as well in Phoenix and Tampa.
