After 15 years, CargoWise edi changes name

CargoWise edi, a provider of visibility, efficiency and quality of service solutions, has officially dropped “edi” from its name in an effort to better “reflect its position as a globally recognized technology supplier for logistics service providers.”

The new name, CargoWise, became effective Jan. 1. It comes as the company celebrates 15 years in business and is joined by a new logo and web site, offering a “clean, modern look and improved navigation.”

“We are pleased to announce this important rebranding initiative as it coincides with the 15th year of CargoWise’s success as a global logistics technology provider,” said Melinda Elmowy, vp-global sales & marketing. “CargoWise is recognized as a global company with solutions that enable our customers to operate seamlessly throughout the global supply chain. Our new image reinforces the CargoWise corporate brand and aligns with our strategic focus and commitment to deliver industry leading technology innovations and services to logistics service providers worldwide.”

CargoWise has 10 offices worldwide and more than 33,000 users of its services in 45 countries.
