New logistical and management solutions for owners of dry vans and flatbed trailers is said to improve utilization, reduce operational costs, and enhance customer service. The Par Logistics Management Systems (Par LMS) solutions offer customizable reporting for quick decision-making, the company said.

Options for the DT200 for dry vans and the FT200 for flatbeds include excessive trailer dwell time, geofence arrival and departure notifications, door open and close alerts, yard and trailer pool management, and improved turn-time per location.

The DT200 is mounted inside dry vans, and, utilizing a small antenna on the roof, transmits trailer status, location history, geofence status and other data in real-time. Users can select alerts and frequency and whether to receive regular updates or manage by exception, getting alerts only when status is outside preset limits.

“We continue to see significant demand for both our standard refrigerated container and trailer product as well as a solution for customers with mixed fleets,” said John Sammon III, president. “These customers are looking for a sole provider of a trailer management solution for reefers, dry vans, and flatbeds. With the DT200 and FT200, PAR can now provide that complete solution.”

The FT200 was designed especially for flatbeds and chassis and is mounted on the frame rail.
