Commercial truck and bus operators now have the option to receive email notification of special offers containing hundreds of dollars in instant savings on commonly used parts, service and preventive maintenance repairs from Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA). The OEM said it now offers the new email service, which will also provide useful tips, the latest industry news, and information about rapidly changing technologies. A search feature makes it possible to find special offers by location and also provides Google Map directions, location hours of operation, and a host of other support features.

To begin receiving special offers on parts and service from dealers and distributors throughout the U.S. and Canada, customers are invited to visit the Freightliner, Sterling, Western Star, Thomas Built Buses and Detroit Diesel websites.

While signing up, customers can elect to receive the special offers via mailed flyers or by viewing the information online at any of the DTNA company websites linked above.

“We understand how challenging it is to compete in today’s market,” said Todd Hooper, director of Parts & Service Marketing. “Now customers can access real-time special parts and service offers in a clear format. We know that trucking companies and owner-operators want to keep their vehicle operation costs low, no matter where they are or what commercial vehicle they drive.”

According to DTNA, the company is the first and only truck OEM to provide such information by individual retail dealer and distributor location on its company websites.
