Internet-based logistics site Getloaded has formed a partnership with the National Assn. for Minority Truckers (NAfMT) to offeg exclusive loads and special discounts to NAfMT members.

“After launching the industry’s first Spanish language load board earlier this year, we at Getloaded have been searching for additional ways to encourage diversity in trucking,” said Fergus Caldicott, gm of Getloaded. “Once we learned more about the NAfMT’s commitment to providing services and resources that help minorities succeed in the transportation industry, a formal alliance was a natural fit.”

Under terms of the agreement, Getloaded’s business development manager Steve Baumhardt will serve on MAfMT’s board of directors. In addition, Getloaded will become the exclusive Internet load board for MAfMT members.

Getloaded announced it will also create the NAfMT LoadedAdvantage…Powered by Getloaded-- an exclusive NAfMT-branded load board with all the functionality of Getloaded.

NAfMT members will receive special discounts on freight-matching services at Getloaded and authority services through GLAuthority.

“At Getloaded, we are dedicated to helping the nation’s owner-operators and small fleets be successful, and we were thrilled to see how closely the NAfMT’s mission aligned with our own,” added Caldicott. “Together, we will work to provide truckers the support — and resources — they need to transform opportunity into lasting success.”
