Networkfleet has unveiled a new online state mileage reports function that it said will simplify the fuel-tax reporting process for fleets. Simply by logging on to Networkfleet’s fleet management system, managers can generate reports showing the number of miles traveled for each vehicle by state.
“The new state mileage reports are just another example of how Networkfleet listens to customers and provides them with the information they need to make their job easier,” said Keith Schneider, president & CEO of Networkfleet. “We are committed to continually improving our products and services to maximize the efficiency and productivity of our customers’ fleet operations.”
The company’s fleet management system combines GPS fleet tracking with remote engine diagnostics. Using this information, the system is able to calculate the exact mileage a particular vehicle travelled, on what dates, and in which state, including toll and non-toll distances.
Fuel-tax reports are required under the International Fuel Tax Agreement. Fleets must file quarterly fuel tax reports.
