Keith Schneider, president of Networkfleet, has been appointed CEO as well. In his new dual role, Schneider will continue to oversee all company operations as well as focus on customer and investor relations.

“Networkfleet is in a great position for robust, sustainable growth, with a solid team and a strong product offering,” said Schneider. “Working with the rest of the management team, I look forward to strengthening Networkfleet’s leadership position in telematics solutions for the fleet market and capitalizing on emerging growth opportunities.”

Schneider joined Networkfleet, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hughes Telematics, in 2007 as president. Under his direction, the company has surpassed 100,000 subscribers in the U.S. and moved into larger headquarters to position itself for further growth.

“Keith has a clear strategic vision that he has been able to implement by building a great team, focused on tactical execution to drive growth at Networkfleet,” said Jeffrey A. Leddy, CEO of Hughes Telematics. “He has consistently demonstrated the operational and management abilities needed to achieve success in a dynamic growth market. The solid foundation and infrastructure that he has built provides an excellent platform for continued rapid growth.”
