NFI Transportation Brokerage has announced it has implemented Aljex Software to manage its operations, headquartered in Cherry Hill, NJ. NFI Transportation Brokerage is a division of NFI, a privately held, integrated supply chain solutions provider.

The company went live with Aljex in March. “We’ve already seen it has enabled us to gain some productivity right out the gate,” said Jim Quinn, vp NFI Transportation Brokerage. “I’m very pleased.”

“We looked at a lot of different systems, but I was immediately impressed with Aljex,” he continued. “I liked that it was web-hosted, that we didn’t have to buy software. I thought it was very versatile, and I thought it was very intuitive.”

Quinn said his team has adapted to Aljex quickly. “Don’t get me wrong,” he explained. “Obviously with any new system you’ve got people hitting wrong buttons. But even over the first couple of weeks we have made leaps. The ability of our team to grasp it, use it, be functional, and share information -- the learning curve -- has been better than anticipated.”

NFI Transportation Brokerage is using the Aljex’s TIN (Transportation Intermediary Network), map-oriented software, which Aljex said is “adding even greater depth to NFI’s supply chain capabilities and customer services.”
