TIMTC, USDOT to hold free webinar on “industry renaissance.”

A free, May 19 webinar, hosted jointly by the Trucking Industry Mobility & Technology Coalition (TIMTC) and the U.S. Dept. of Transportation (USDOT), will address the regulatory environment and the economy, including issues that could derail a recovery, and new opportunities that could create an “industry renaissance” in productivity and efficiency

A free, May 19 webinar, hosted jointly by the Trucking Industry Mobility & Technology Coalition (TIMTC) and the U.S. Dept. of Transportation (USDOT), will address the regulatory environment and the economy, including issues that could derail a recovery, and new opportunities that could create an “industry renaissance” in productivity and efficiency.

Bob Costello, chief economist with the American Trucking Assns. (ATA), Wayne Johnson of Owens Corning and chair of the NIT League Transportation Committee, and Dave Miller, COO of Gnosis Management and former senior vice president of Con-way Freight will speak at the presentation.

The webinar will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT. Participants will need access to a telephone and the Internet. Registration is free.
