Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. has created an online expedited-rate estimate tool that the company said will allow customers to compare standard and expedited rates for their shipping orders.
The On Demand Time Specific Rate Estimate Tool will estimate rates for one-day-earlier delivery by 10 a.m., noon or 5 p.m. based on origin and destination zip codes as well as class and weight, Old Dominion said.
“The customer never has to make the first phone call with our new On Demand Rate Estimate Tool,” said Steve Hartsell, director of expedited sales & service for Old Dominion. “We realize when our clients need expedited services, they want a provider who reacts quickly and helps make their job easier.”
