The new eClient data collection system for the FleetDirector tracking and fleet management system automates DOT driver logs and state fuel tax reporting, according to Teletrac Inc.

The company's new DOT Report uses the system's GPS location tracking and Prism onboard recorder to generate graphic drivers logs that comply with all DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements for automatic logs, according to Teletrac. The DOT Report feature can also provide fleet managers with basic vehicle and job information, including vehicle ID, carrier name, driver name and daily total mileages.

The company's State Fuel Tax Report uses the same data to generate full-documented reports that meet taxing-authority standards, Teletrac says. Reports can be run for a single vehicle or a group and for just one day or any group of days.
