Maptuit Corp. has released in-vehicle truck-navigation software for portable and in-cab computing devices running the Windows or Windows CE operating systems.

The next generation of Maptuit's truck navigation system features real-time turn-by-turn directions delivered in text and maps as well as spoken with Window's new text-to-speech capabilities. All routing and directions are truck specific and can be integrated with fuel optimization systems.

The new application also supports delivery of current traffic and weather conditions, and rapid rerouting in a turn or direction is missed.
