TMW Systems Inc. has announced that David W. Wangler will succeed Ken Thompson as president & CEO for the fleet management software company. Thompson is retiring, but will continue to serve as a member of TMW's board of directors. Wangler most recently served as president & CEO of SupplyWorks Inc., where he oversaw the development of the internet company into an on-demand enterprise applications business.

TMW Systems Inc. has announced that David W. Wangler will succeed Ken Thompson as president & CEO for the fleet management software company. Thompson is retiring, but will continue to serve as a member of TMW's board of directors. Wangler most recently served as president & CEO of SupplyWorks Inc., where he oversaw the development of the internet company into an on-demand enterprise applications business. He has also held executive positions in global sales and marketing for a variety of supply chain and logistics software providers, including Baan (SSA Global), SKYVA International and the Wonderware Corp.

J. Richard Schien has been elected chairman of the board of Karmak, Inc. and Bill Healy has been named to fill Schien's former role as president & CEO of the software company. Schien will continue to focus on strategic planning while serving as a key company spokesperson. Healy most recently served as Karmak's executive vp.

McLeod Software has announced that Gov. Bill Graves, president & CEO of the American Trucking Assns. (ATA), will serve as keynote speaker at its annual users' conference. The conference will be held Sept. 20 to 23 at the Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham, AL. Graves will speak at the opening general session on Sept. 21 and is expected will address the growing challenges facing the industry will grow over the next several years and what steps the industry can take to address those challenges. www.mcleodsoftware.com.

Bryan Jones has been appointed VP of Operations for Getloaded.com, a national freight matching service. Jones had been serving as the Director of Research and Development. Prior to joining Getloaded.com, Jones spent 7 1/2 years as an officer in the Navy, serving as a course director at the Army Logistics Management College for his last tour. He graduated form the U.S. Naval Academy with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and earned a Masters of Science in Management with a concentration in Logistics Management from Florida Institute of Technology.
