Version II of EZ Maintenance from Link It Software Corp. adds a full parts inventory module. Scheduled for release this month, the new version of the Windows-based standalone software package also includes fuel usage reporting that highlights sudden increases in fuel consumption by driver or vehicle.

The parts feature allows parts to be selected or removed from inventory right from work orders and monitors inventory levels for reorder points. It can also issue purchase orders for inventory items directly from work orders and maintains a full vendor list tagged to specific parts.

Other changes for Version II include an alert screen for overdue maintenance, equipment tracking by hours as well as miles, batch printing of invoices and a no-cost interface for MS Excel.
