Webasto’s LEaP (Lowering Emissions and Particulates) Idle Reduction Information web site has a green frog as a mascot, chosen because frogs are “eco-indicators”

LOUISVILLE, KY. Webasto’s LEaP (Lowering Emissions and Particulates) Idle Reduction Information web site has a green frog as a mascot, chosen because frogs are “eco-indicators” whose health reflects the general health of the environment. To help draw attention to the new LEaP website and the issues it addresses, Webasto announced the launch of a viral video on YouTube featuring their soon–to-be-famous frog.

The new video was previewed here at the Mid-America Trucking Show. It is available for viewing at: www.youtube.com/MakeALEap.

In October of 2007, Webasto launched the new database to provide comprehensive information on idling reduction, such as idling laws and regulations, rebate programs, environmentally conscious legislators, idling myths and facts, links to other idling-related web sites and more.
