As a newly certified provider for the U.S. Customers and Board Protection (CBP) Agency's Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) e-manifest program, TMW Systems Inc. has introduced a new ACE integration tool for its TMWSuite fleet management system.

The ACE program requires trucking companies with U.S. bound freight from Canada or Mexico to submit an electronic manifest CBP before the shipment reaches the border.

The new TWMSuite tool automatically creates the ACE electronic documents with data from the system and routes them to CBP, the software developer says.

TMW says the new ACE tool is currently being used by a number of Canadian fleets, including Kriska Transportation, a 380-tractor truckload carrier serving food and customer products shippers.
