Aramark adds 50 hybrids

Agrant from the U.S. Dept. of Energy's Maryland Clean Cities Program funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is allowing Aramark Uniform Services to add 50 diesel-electric hybrid trucks to its fleet. The company said the trucks are going to be deployed in a dozen urban areas where low vehicle speeds and stop-and-go traffic are the norm ideal conditions for hybrid operation.
