Pacbrake has developed the PRXB, a modulating exhaust brake designed for both in-city operations and in hilly areas. PRXB has up to a third more retarding horsepower than a standard exhaust brake at 1,500 rpm. The constant backpressure adjusts as engine speed changes to maintain optimum retarding performance throughout the rpm range for superior braking performance, the company states.www.pacbrake.com

Roadranger announced a new Vibration Control Technology (VCT) soft-rate damper for Eaton Fuller heavy-duty 15.5-in. clutches. The VCT Plus soft-rate damper incorporates a pre-damper designed to reduce idle-rattle noise that occurs when engines operate at low-torque or engine speed with the transmission in neutral. Roadranger says it can also lower maintenance costs and downtime, while extending drivetrain component life. www.roadranger.com

An automatic slack adjuster tool from One Eye Industries is designed to prevent splines from stripping during regular maintenance. The Koo-Way socket allows users to take pressure off the slack adjuster without damaging the internal splines, then tighten it again after brake maintenance is complete. The tool can also be used to adjust brake travel. www.OneEyeIndustries.com
