ChevronTexaco Global Lubricants (CTGL) has introduced a Delo-brand coolant for truck engines equipped with exhaust-gas recirculation (EGR) technology.

Called Delo Extended Life Coolant (ELC), the product is designed specifically to handle the higher heat loads generated by the EGR process. According to CTGL, the new engine design makes coolant even more critical to removing excess combustion heat from the engine, preventing different metals from corroding, and preventing the cooling system from freezing or boiling over.

The new coolant is available as a concentrate or pre-diluted 50-50 for immediate use.
