The latest version of Allison Transmission's diagnostic software for its 1000/200/24000 Series and MD/HD automatic transmissions offers online updates over the Internet, as well as the ability to capture and view raw data transmitted over the vehicle's data bus.
Formerly called the Allison Transmission Diagnostic Tool (ATDT), Allison DOC for PC v2.0 allows technicians to isolate troubleshooting data from a transmission controller and quickly connect to relevant sections in the program's embedded troubleshooting manual.
Other features for the Windows-based diagnostic program include an “instrument panel view” of transmission parameters, a demo mode for training and automated troubleshooting routines tied to specific diagnostic findings.
