Distributor changes its name

Allied Oil & Supply, a Midwest distributor of lubricants and commercial tires, has changed its name to more accurately reflect the company's product portfolio and service offerings. The new name, Allied Oil & Tire Co., more closely aligns and strengthens the identity of the primary operating divisions, the company said. Allied Tire Co., the name of Allied's tire division, will also cease to exist.

Allied Oil & Supply, a Midwest distributor of lubricants and commercial tires, has changed its name to more accurately reflect the company's product portfolio and service offerings.

The new name, Allied Oil & Tire Co., more closely aligns and strengthens the identity of the primary operating divisions, the company said. Allied Tire Co., the name of Allied's tire division, will also cease to exist.

“While our company name is changing, all core components of the organization will remain the same, including our superior service and branded products consisting of Allied, Shell, Michelin and others,” said Steve Phillips, president.

Allied has been a family-owned business since 1958, serving customers in transportation, construction, passenger car motor oil, industrial, mining and agriculture. The company is headquartered in Omaha, NE.
