The National Truck Equipment Assn. (NTEA) says a key feature of its 39th Annual Convention, slated for March 3-5, 2003, in Atlanta, will be the program's educational component for fleet managers.
The fleet-management track, according to NTEA, will address issues critical to maximizing productivity and profitability. Sessions will cover issues ranging from managing mobile assets, vehicle specifications and labor in the field to vehicle maintenance and negotiations to reduce owning, operating and disposal costs.
The second key aspect of the convention for fleet managers is the equipment displayed at the concurrent Work Truck Show. NTEA says the displays by some 450 exhibitors provide the best opportunity for fleet managers responsible for a broad array of equipment to see the latest in Class 1-8 chassis, bodies and accessories.
