Tim Bowes has been named vice president & president, Commercial Truck, for Meritor. Randy McGuire has taken over as president of Fontaine Trailer Co.'s heavy-haul business unit. C.R. England has promoted Dan England to chairman, Dean England to president, Wayne Cederholm to CEO, and Chad England to COO. Charlie Wells has been appointed vice president of sales & marketing for East Manufacturing Corp.

  • Charlie Wells has been appointed vice president of sales & marketing for East Manufacturing Corp. East also named David Kinsely vice president of materials.

  • Tom Linebarger, currently president & COO of Cummins Inc., will take over as chairman & CEO effective Jan. 1, 2012. Linebarger is replacing Tim Solso, who is retiring.

  • Ryder System has appointed Dennis C. Cooke senior vice president & chief of operations, U.S. and Canada, for the fleet management solutions business segment.

  • Eaton Corp. named David B. Foster senior vice president-corporate development & treasury. Foster succeeds Kurt McMaken, who has been named vice president, finance and planning, electrical sector for the Europe, Middle East and Africa Region.

  • Aljex Software has named Joe Hirschman president. Hirschman replaces CEO & founder Tom Heine in the position. Heine will remain as CEO. Also, Robyn Freeman has been promoted to vice president of sales.

  • Greatwide Logistics Services has named John P. Tague CEO. Tague succeeds Leo Suggs, who is retiring.

  • Webb Severe Duty has named Ken Kelley president.

  • Jay Sloan has been promoted to district sales representative at Todco.
