  • FleetNet America Inc. announced the hiring of Ric Nelson to the position of TMcare Fleet Manager. Nelson will be responsible for managing and growing FleetNet's Forklift Maintenance Management program.

  • Nebraska Transport Co. CEO Brent Holliday has been named to the SMC3 Board of Directors. His term will expire in 2011. Holliday joins the transportation industry association to serve out the term of Pete Martin, president of Lakeville Motor Express, who has retired.

  • NAFA Fleet Management's educational efforts, including seminars, books and professional certification programs, will be under the guidance of a new leader. Hanan Bedri joins the organization as associate director of education.

  • The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has appointed Benisse Lester, M.D., its chief medical officer. Lester joins FMCSA after serving as director of occupational medicine and safety for the Office of Health Affairs at the Dept. of Homeland Security.
