HighwayMaster Communications Inc., one of trucking's first providers of wireless communications and fleet management services, has changed its corporate name to @Track Communications Inc.

"Our new name more closely aligns the company with its wireless technology direction to be a consolidator of multiple wireless data and voice networks," said Jana Bell, president and CEO of the Texas-based company. "Historically, the company had utilized analog circuit-switched technology as its primary network because it provides ubiquitous coverage across the United States and Canada."

The new company name also reflects its broad array of products and services for wireless vehicle logistics management and intelligent mobile asset tracking, Bell says.
