A new in-cab air release system that provides a more efficient and comfortable way for drivers to uncouple tractors and trailers has been introduced by Holland Fifth Wheels, a business unit of The Holland Group.

Designed to work only when the tractor and trailer are not in motion and the parking brake is engaged, the Air Release System enables drivers to control the entire uncoupling process from the cab - quickly and safely.

To release the fifth wheel lock, drivers using the new system need only push and hold a dash-mounted button that activates a pneumatic cylinder on the fifth wheel.

The Air Release System is available for all Holland 3500 Series stationary and sliding fifth-wheel models. It is backed by the company's five-year comprehensive warranty, which includes parts and labor allowance.
