Roadranger Fuel Efficient 75w-90 Synthetic Axle Lubricant will now be a factory-installed option on all Freightliner Cascadia, Coronado, Columbia and Century Class S/T models.

According to Freightliner, studies have indicated that using the lubricant may reduce fuel consumption by more than 1%.

“Roadranger FE Synthetic Axle Lubricant not only generates significant cost savings, but also enhances overall performance,” says Melissa Clausen, director of product marketing for Freightliner Trucks. “We are always seeking new solutions that impact our customers' bottom lines.”

Among the lubricant's features are a resistance to oxidation at high operating and peak drivetrain temperatures and its advance seal conditioning base additives. It is non-corrosive to copper and other yellow metals, Roadranger says.
