Tripmaster has released its Routes software interface module. By using Tripmaster's Office fleet-management software database, Routes enables complete route plans to be transferred into the Office systems and loaded onto Tripmaster onboard computers by importing route data from several popular routing software packages (such as Roadshow, Roadnet 5000, and Manugistics Routing & Scheduling).
Tripmaster also announced a new wireless local area network (LAN) data transfer system, dubbed Tripmaster Wireless. The system boasts a normal operating range of 3,000 ft. The company noted that greater distances are possible with the addition of signal boosters. The system is compatible with Tripmaster DataPort, DataTrax, DT-120 and DT-240 onboard computers.
