SelecTrucks, the used-truck division of Freightliner LLC, has begun turning sleeper cab Century Class tractors into day cab models at its refurbishing facility in Tooele, UT. The factory removes all side and roof skins from late-model sleeper models and installs a new mid-height roof. The cab's original rear panel is fitted with a new window, and new interior panels and floor coverings added, according to Freightliner officials.
