Fleets looking for quotes on new dry van and flatbed trailers can use a new online service. Willgo (www.willgo.com) allows users to spec trailers for their applications and submit quote requests to selected manufacturers. Quoted prices include FET, delivery, and a $250 per trailer fee for Willgo. The site also includes financing information, and a reefer trailer section is planned.

A free guide to online transportation services is available from online logistics services provider NTE. “The NTE e-Transportation Guide” offers transportation managers and logistics professionals simple explanations and practical advice on using electronic services offered by NTE and others. Copies are available at www.nte.com.

Telematics services in Mexico, including access to directions and emergency services, will be offered under a new joint venture by Trimble Information Services and Gedas Mexico. Trimble will supply the onboard communications hardware and Gedas will operate the service's call center.
