Regional tractor for 4000 Series Mid-Cab

International Truck & Engine Corp. has rolled out the newest addition to its medium-duty 4000 Series, the International 4400 42 Mid Cab tractor. Standard powerplant is the International DT466 diesel rated 215 hp. and 620 lb.-ft. torque. International Truck & Engine Corp. has rolled out the newest addition to its medium-duty 4000 Series, the International 4400 4×2 Mid Cab tractor.

Standard powerplant is the International DT466 diesel rated 215 hp. and 620 lb.-ft. torque. DT466 engines with ratings up to 250 hp as well as International DT530 engines with ratings up to 300 hp. are also available.

The 4400 is aimed at customers operating trucks in low-mileage, urban and regional applications. According to International, the 4400 offers outstanding maneuverability, a commanding view of the road, exceptional serviceability, excellent fuel economy and superior powertrain performance.

Standard features include a cab air suspension and a parabolic, taper-leaf front suspension system with tuned shock absorbers for “outstanding ride, handling and control.” In addition, the truck features a lighter, stronger frame backed by a seven-year limited warranty.
