Stemco Inc. of Longview, Tex., has joined up with Webb Wheel Products of Culman, Ala., to add Webb's hub system to Stemco's Advantage System wheel-end product. The Advantage is a factory-installed high performance unitized hub system that offers higher temperature sealing elements, its Pro-Torq Advanced Axle Spindle Nuts and the Sentinel Hub Cab with filtering system to prevent fluid contamination.

The addition of Webb as a hub partner for Stemco's Advantage System will help bolster the device's sealing ability, bearing adjustment capability, and preserve lubricant integrity.

Tuthill Transport Technologies has released the new Reyco/Granning Model 19AR/RS1062 air-ride van slider suspension. The company says the unit is lightweight yet doesn't compromise strength or durability. Weighing in at only 854 lb., the suspension is rated at 19,000 lb. per axle.

According to Tuthill, the design uses narrow beams and haners, only two main crossmembers, and eliminates U-bolts in the axle attachments to remove weight without reducing strength. And the company says strength has been added thanks to a new unitized hanger design that attaches the hangers to the sides of the rails rather than just at the bottoms of the rails.
