    Tax reporting automated

    PC*FuelTax 7.0 fully automates tracking, calculation and reporting of fuel and mileage taxes, according to developer ALK Technologies Inc. The software package, currently installed by over 1,000 fleets, determines taxes owed and credits or refunds due, and also includes online IFTA tax forms and rates. New features for version 7.0 include trailer reports for both owned and leased equipment that include

    PC*FuelTax 7.0 fully automates tracking, calculation and reporting of fuel and mileage taxes, according to developer ALK Technologies Inc. The software package, currently installed by over 1,000 fleets, determines taxes owed and credits or refunds due, and also includes online IFTA tax forms and rates.

    New features for version 7.0 include trailer reports for both owned and leased equipment that include both trailer specifications and jurisdictions traveled. It can also file weight-distance taxes on a monthly basis as well as quarterly.

    PC*FuelTax can be used as a stand-alone system or in conjunction with the company's routing and mileage programs. It can also support data imports from a variety of fleet management systems.
