Fleets using the Centeron wireless tank level monitoring system can automate fuel delivery scheduling with new data collection software from system developer Robershaw Products. The Centeron system sends tank level readings wirelessly to control devices, which then send the information to fuel distributors and fleet managers via the Internet.
The new Centeron software allows that data to be integrated with a fleet's business system, automatically sending digital page or e-mail alerts when levels go below set points. It also creates a data center with real-time information on tank levels, average usage and historical usage for analysis. The center can also be used to remotely change set points for automated alerts.
Collected data can be accessed by any authorized user with an Internet connection and it can be downloaded to most common spreadsheet applications.
