Ken-Tool unveils 8-in-1 Wrench

July 8, 2015

Ken-Tool unveiled its 8-in-1 Wrench, in SAE or Metric versions, designed for the professional mechanic, and the D.I.Y. homeowner or auto enthusiast, the company announced.

It is fabricated from cold forged vanadium steel alloy.  At the heart of the wrench is the “Slide-Twist-Slide” design to quickly change wrench sizes, the company said. According to Ken-Tool, to change the size, the user slides the carrier to the center, twists it 180 degrees and slides back to lock in place.

The SAE version of the 8-in-1 Wrench (#35775) includes eight sizes – 5/16”, 3/8”, 7/16”, 1/2”, 9/16”, 5/8”, 11/16” and 3/4”.  The metric version (#35776) has 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 16mm and 17mm sizes.

“The ‘Stud-Thru’ feature permits studs and bolts to pass through the opening,” according to Ken-Tool. “The 12-point closed box design needs only a 30-degree re-engagement arc for tight clearances.”

For resellers, the wrench is available in a shelf/counter display holding either 6 SAE or 6 metric wrenches (#35775S – SAE, #35776M – metric).  The display is 5”w x 6”d x 8” h, and weighs 5 pounds (2.3 kg) when loaded and is UPS-able.
