Peak launches resource to support fleet professionals

As part of ongoing efforts to support fleet professionals in maximizing efficiency and profitability, PEAK Commercial & Industrial has launched Lifeblood, an online resource providing a variety of information, tools, research and industry profiles to aid fleet professionals in fulfilling their day-to-day responsibilities. “Fleet professionals serve as the lifeblood of the nation’s transportation and distribution industry, ensuring products and services across the country are delivered in a timely, efficient manner,” said Sean Wheatley, director of marketing. “The Lifeblood program is designed for these professionals to have a resource center, communicate about trending industry topics, share best practices and see profiles on some of country’s most successful fleets.”As the transportation industry continues to evolve in response to changing consumer demand, expanded government regulations and emerging technologies, Peak believes it is critical that fleet professionals are able to access the latest news, tools and resources to optimize their fleet’s performance.“Lifeblood will provide these necessary resources to support fleet professionals in their work that is vital to the economy,” the company said. According to the company, features of Lifeblood include:·      Fleet professionals profiles – PEAK Commercial &Industrial’s Lifeblood campaign looks at unique fleet programs from across the country. The first video profiles 16-time NHRA World Champion, John Force, and his John Force Racing team as they move their operation from Indiana to the 2015 Gatornationals event in Gainesville, Florida. ·      Monthly commissioned research – Monthly surveys will gauge where the industry stands, and is heading, on key topics that influence fleet professionals’ roles and responsibilities. ·      Fluid Thinking – The Fluid Thinking section of the Lifeblood site serves as a hub of expert interviews and relevant information, featuring insights from various members of the fleet management community, conversations and industry-focused articles.
