Fleets and others involved in cross-border freight movement can get the latest information on the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system at two conferences being held by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CPB).
Topics covered will include compliance with new regulations mandating the use of ACE, as well as demonstrations of new functionality for the system, according to CBP.
The first will be held on Oct. 15 to 17 in Atlanta, and the second in November on the West Coast at a place and date yet to be determined. Registration (www.cbp.gov/modernization) is free but required for every attendee.
CBP said it will also offer a limited number of one-on-one meetings to assist ACE users with reports training, account management and other related issues.
