Nick Goodell, director of the TruckGuardian Group for ThoughtDrivers LLC, won a Freightliner Cascadia from a random drawing of 175 registrants at the American Trucking Assns. (ATA) 2007 Management Conference and Exhibition. The Cascadia is Freightliner Trucks’ latest Class 8 commercial vehicle.

The truck was awarded following Freightliner’s “Everyone’s a Winner” promotion, in which registrants attended a presentation on the Cascadia and Detroit Diesel DD15 heavy-duty engine.

“After reading about the real-time gas mileage advantages and aerodynamic properties of the truck, I can't wait to test it out myself," said Goodell.
