The Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference (EUFMC) announced it will hold its 55th annual gathering June 15 to 18, 2008 at the Williamsburg Lodge in Williamsburg, VA.
The conference will discuss the latest environmental concerns, including regulations, diesel emissions, hybrid developments, and new technologies. It will also feature an expanded outdoor equipment demonstration and display.
“The officers and directors of EUFMC work hard to address issues that concern all electric utility fleets,” said Rich Mento, fleet manager - electric system at United Illuminating Company, this year’s EUFMC president. “Before developing conference plans we listen to attendees to learn what topics are of greatest interest, and focus on offering presentations on those that are most critical, so everyone can gain valuable and helpful information. This year, the general session theme is ‘Powering Your Fleet Toward the Future’ and we know attendees will find the presentations that are being planned very beneficial.”
