Charles Szews is being promoted at Oshkosh Truck Corp. to president & COO from his previous position as executive vp & CFO

Charles Szews is being promoted at Oshkosh Truck Corp. to president & COO from his previous position as executive vp & CFO. David Sagehorn is taking over Szews’ former duties as executive vp, CFO, & treasurer.

Szews joined Oshkosh in 1996 and in his new capacity as COO will lead and direct all aspects of the company’s four business segments and growth initiatives. Prior to joining Oshkosh, Szews served as vp & controller of Fort Howard Corp., a commercial tissue manufacturer, and as a senior audit manager with Ernst & Young.

As Oshkosh’s new executive vp, CFO, & treasurer, Sagehorn is responsible for directing the company’s overall financial policies, as well as managing all financial functions including accounting, investor relations, credit, insurance, tax and treasury. He joined Oshkosh in 2000 from CNH Global (formerly Case Corp.), with a background in public accounting.
