Fifth wheel manufacturer Fontaine International North American has launched a new aftermarket company, Fontaine Parts Connection, to supply parts, tools, and support to fleets, truck dealers and independent distributors.
Roger Crawford will be president of the new company. Britt Caple has been named director of sales & marketing.
Crawford has been with Fontaine’s parent company, the Marmon Group, since 1985, most recently serving as vp of international sourcing for Marmon Highway Technology. Caple has been with the company since 1989 and has been named Fontaine International’s Salesman of the Year four times.
"Forming an entirely new company enables us to focus resources on meeting the needs of our aftermarket customers," Crawford said. "Fontaine fifth wheels are requested on more new production Class 8 trucks in North America than any other brand, which means that there's a large aftermarket parts market out there.”
