French companies specializing in diesel technologies will be exhibiting for the first time at a collective booth at the SAE Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress & Exhibition in Rosemont, IL, Oct. 31-Nov. 1.

The Diesel France pavilion (booth 706) was organized by the French Economic Mission to provide a one-stop-shop for learning about the latest in French diesel technologies for commercial vehicles.

The 13 companies exhibiting in the Diesel France pavilion will present a variety of technologies for diesel-powered vehicles, from injection systems, to engine parts, test benches, fluid transfer systems and exhaust treatment.

They include: Aquarese, which has developed high-pressure processes for diesel injection systems (common rails, tubes, and injectors); Céramiques Techniques et Industrielles (CTI), which has developed a patented Monolith Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) in silicon carbide to reduce the particulate matter emission from diesel exhaust; Electricfil Automotive, which specializes in sensors and actuators for diesel engine control systems; Famer Industrie, which specializes in the production of machined engine components and gears for manufacturers of off-highway vehicles and trucks; and the Powertrain Engineering business unit of IFP, which develops technologies to cut the emissions and energy consumption of automobiles, commercial vehicles, and trucks. Eight additional French firms will also be exhibiting.
