The National Truck Equipment Assn. (NTEA) has announced that its 2008 Business and Market Planning Summit will be held Oct. 30-31, 2007 at the Embassy Suites Hotel Chicago-O'Hare Rosemont in Rosemont, IL.

Held in cooperation with the National Trailer Dealers Assn. (NTDA), the meeting will provide insight into what lies ahead for the work truck equipment and trailer industry, as well as offer a number of industry-specific business planning tools.

Economists and industry experts will cover a variety of topics, including a North American macroeconomic forecast, U.S. regional forecasts, truck and trailer industry forecasts, market summaries and critical elements of business and market plan development.

The cost for those registering on or before Sept. 28 is $249 for NTEA and NTDA members and $299 for non-members. After that, the fee is $299 for members and $349 for nonmembers.
