Truckload carrier Knight Transportation has opened a new dry van service center and three new brokerage locations as it continues to expand its national network.

Phoenix-based Knight’s dry van service center is located in Dallas and the three new brokerage centers service the Atlanta, Reno and Los Angeles markets. These increase the service center network to 27 dry van, four refrigerated, and 12 brokerage service centers, said Kevin Knight, the carrier’s chairman & CEO.

"These new service centers grow our nationwide transportation network to 43 service centers strong," noted Knight. "Although we are in a challenging freight environment, we believe our service center expansion continues to be a medium for growth and will continue to position us well for an improved demand environment."
