Landstar System has announced that Jeff Pundt will succeed Ron Stanley as vp of corporate business development effective January 2.
"Jeff is a proven leader and has done a fantastic job of leading the Landstar Carrier Group over the past three years,” said Landstar president & CEO Henry Gerkens. As vice president of corporate business development, Jeff will play an integral part in growing Landstar's revenue."
The company also announced that Pat O’Malley has been named president of the Landstar Carrier Group. O’Malley joined the company in 1985 and most recently served as executive vp of operations for the Landstar Carrier Group.
"Pat's extensive experience working with all of Landstar's constituents in the areas of operations and safety make him an ideal candidate for this position,” Gerkens said. “I am confident he will do an excellent job leading the Carrier Group into 2008 and beyond."
