Mac Tools has named Michael Murray president, effective January 1. He joined the company in February 2007 as vp of operations and merchandising before becoming COO.

Murray previously worked 17 years at General Electric in sales, marketing and operational capacities.

The company also announced Dan Picolo has been named vp of global sales and services. Picolo joined the company in 2000 as region manager following nine years at PepsiCo. He was promoted to director of sales for the U.S. & Canada before becoming vp of sales and field services for the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. in 2007.
