NationaLease names salesperson of the year

Chris Leach, area vp for FirstLease in Atlanta, has been named the 2007 top salesperson for NationaLease. Leach totaled nearly $2 million in annual sales revenue and was one of 21 NationaLease salespeople to receive the Masters Club Platinum Award, which he won for the sixth consecutive year

Chris Leach, area vp for FirstLease in Atlanta, has been named the 2007 top salesperson for NationaLease. Leach totaled nearly $2 million in annual sales revenue and was one of 21 NationaLease salespeople to receive the Masters Club Platinum Award, which he won for the sixth consecutive year.

"As the economy has softened, we are seeing more demand for truck leasing as companies elect to reinvest their money back into the business rather than in depreciable assets," said Leach. "The technical complexity of the new power units has also increased the contract maintenance side of the business as more companies are outsourcing this service to specially trained personnel."

Leach, who has been in the truck leasing industry for 13 years, sells full service leasing and contract maintenance to 75 customers on the west side of Atlanta.
