Mary E. Blair has been appointed senior vice president-supply chain management, for Accuride Corp., a supplier of commercial vehicle components.
Blair, who will report to Rick Dauch, president & CEO, will be responsible for global activities in the areas of strategic sourcing, logistics, supplier quality and development, and inventory control and planning.
“Based on Mary’s successful leadership of transforming initiatives in procurement, logistics, and supplier development, we are confident that she will make an immediate and lasting impact on Accuride’s supply chain and logistics performance,” said Dauch. “Her history of building effective teams will support the creation of a strengthened supply chain that meets our customers’ requirements, while her success in generating savings for transportation industry leaders will enable us to stem inflationary pressures and improve our margins, quality and competitiveness.”
Blair comes to Accuride from UCI International, a producer of filtration, engine management, fuel pump, and water pump systems, where she served as vice president.
She has also worked for International Truck and Engine, and General Motors.
