3PL brokers can now facilitate and control their shippers’ inbound freight moves with Aljex Inbound, a new hosted service from Aljex Software.

The tool links shippers and suppliers with their third-party logistics provider through password protected software. The program allows the 3PL, the customer and the customer’s vendors to share information accurately and easily in one place, all with the 3PL’s oversight, Aljex said.

According to the company, Aljex Inbound will transfer information automatically to the user’s software, regardless of whether it is an Aljex product or not, through an electronic data interchange.
