AmeriQuest Transportation Services announced it has purchased Cure Leasing & Maintenance. Terms were not disclosed. Cure provides financing solutions and maintenance services to independent contractors and contract carriers affiliated with delivery and logistics companies.

A subsidiary named AmeriQuest Leasing & Maintenance has been created and will operate the business as Cure Leasing & Maintenance. The company will be headquartered in Norcross, GA.

“The Cure team has built an exciting and powerful offering that complements AmeriQuest’s mission to provide value to a company’s transportation operation,” said Jim Guice, executive vp of AmeriQuest. “Our companies share similar values; we put customers first and are committed to innovating to improve the customer experience. This acquisition is a natural fit to offer a compelling service to companies using independent contractors as drivers.”

“When Cure was founded in 2005, the company saw a unique opportunity in the marketplace to develop leasing and maintenance programs for owner-operators and contract carriers, where there previously were very few options,” said Greg Jordan, CEO of Cure Leasing & Maintenance. “This acquisition will provide Cure a platform to grow and expand its offerings by leveraging AmeriQuest’s strong brand, complementary service offerings, financial position, and excellent relationships throughout the industry.”

Greg Jordan will serve as CEO and Ed Wilkinson as president & COO.
